Blue Sky Cellar - Buena Vista Street

At Disney California Adventure, Blue Sky Cellar just reopened after a 4 day closure.  They replaced "The Little Mermaid exhibit" and changed it to focus on "Buena Vista Street"

Once inside, 3 new attractions posters are displayed

This is the my favorite

The wig wag

Looking at the Red Car Trolley schematics

I think some of this has been displayed before in the Cellar

Buena Vista Street

Same concept art that has been displayed for CarsLand

Walt and Mickey Marquette

Carthay Circle Theatre

Some of these people can be seen in the short video that talks about Buena Vista Steet

Showcase of the costumes the Cast Members will wear for Buena Vista Street

Emblem for the Red Car Trolley Cast Member hat

Taking a look at concept drawings for Disney's Hawaii Vacation Club "Aulani" and the Disneyland Hotel's Trader Sams restaurant

Screen shots from the short video that plays inside the Blue Sky Cellar. These screen shots may not be in the same order as the actual video.  I just used shots that either have great pictures or statements the Imagineers  stated in the video

I hope DisneyPark's YouTube channel puts up the video.  This is probably the best video Blue Sky Cellar has done.  It talks about Walt Disney's history and connection to Los Angeles and how he was able to eventually make his dream come true.  Several other Imagineers who are in involved with Buena Vista Street creation give their own story about connecting and history.  It really is a great little film

That will conclude today's Blue Sky Cellar pictorial
Thanks for your patience and stopping by

Until Next Time...

  2. The renderings make it seem so real. I hope the final architecture is as detailed and realistic.
