A Visit to the Disneyland Resort on this Thanksgiving Day

With it being Thanksgiving and spending time with the family in the afternoon, I had an idea of rushing to the Resort in the early morning to try and get my pictorial done for the week.

I got somewhat of a late start, arriving at the Disneyland Resort shortly after 8:15am

No more World of Color signage at the Bag Check tents

I did something I rarely do, and that's to go into Disneyland first! My goal was to head over to Pirates of the Caribbean first before anything else.

I arrive there and it's closed!  It had a delayed opening.  I stood in line for a bit to see if it would open.

Waiting in line.

At 9:15am, I decided to give up and go on with my other things.

Looking back, people still waited for it to reopen

Since I am in Disneyland, might as well take the trip on the Monorail

Heading into Disney California Adventure

The wall just inside Disney California Adventure's entrance has been pushed back on the left side so that it is now even all the way across

So I went back to Disneyland to check up on the status of Pirates of the Caribbean.  Come to find out that had opened up...

And the line stretched all the way to the patio of the Stage Door Cafe.  After about 15 minutes in line, I decided to give up and try for another day because I was running out of time.

The old banner marquee is finally all gone and the area looks a lot nicer

That will conclude today's pictorial.
I hope you enjoyed it.
Thanks for your patience and stopping by to check it out

Until Next Time...
