Palm Trees and Parade Poles

The Spring Break crowds are slowly appearing at the Resort.  Today had great weather for visiting the Parks.

Heading into Disney California Adventure

Checking out some of the construction taking place for Buena Vista Street

The bridge turrets the Disneyland Monorail passes through

As everyone was heading to California Screamin' or Toy Story Midway Mania, my friend and I just did a straight shot to Mickey's Fun Wheel

The Matterhorn with the real mountains behind it.

Cozy Cone Motel

Another V8 sign has appeared

Partial view of Cars Land

The pathway between "a bug's land" and Cars Land receives for foliage

Looking at the  Pacific Wharf entrance to Cars Land

Detail road rails

The viewing area underneath Silly Symphony Swings has reopened.  It was walled off for some time.  Heard it was for some plumbing

Mickey is back, ready to conduct his orchestra

Checking out the Boardwalk Bazaar

How funny! The former title Manhat'n Beach can still be seen inside the store in neon

It's been almost two years since this box has been placed and it's still a popular spot for pictures

The gate has been updated like the rest of the Pier. Gone is the old teal color

Replaced with the new green

Cove Bar closed for refurbishment

Sarge's Surplus Hut Cannon neon sign can be easily seen

Close up of the cannon

A side view of the recently installed V8 at Flo's V8 Cafe

Checking out the main street of Radiator Springs for Cars Land

Mater's Junkyard Jamboree

Peeking through the trees to see the V8 sign attached

Mater's Petting Zoo sign. How cute!

Carthay Circle Theatre

Roof tiles being installed

Palm trees and parade poles appearing all around

Look at the palm trees and parade poles

Elias and Company department store

Carthay Circle Theatre marquee

The bricks have been placed

Some trees have also been planted. We will see how it's arranged when we take a trip on the Disneyland Monorail

Why are they so hooked on turkey leg for clothing apparel?!? ha ha

The Cahuenga Building's window display

Monster's Inc. Mike and Sully to the Rescue's marquee still covered

The removal of the Monster's Inc Taxi Cab is in preparation of the "Mad T Party"

The props are slowly being removed, which makes the restrooms look really bare

Painting the popsicle sticks

More on Buena Vista Street

Heading out, checking the work at the entrance of Buena Vista Street

Disneyland time ...

Sure looks crowded

Just waiting for the awning

Matterhorn refurbishment

Appears that the orange tape running horizontally across is some sort of marker where the snow won't go below that point

The rocks that hide the newly installed lights for the Matterhorn have been painted to match the rest

Riding the Disneyland Monorail, checking out Buena Vista Street

One can see the newly planted trees on the left side

More Buena Vista Street, this time looking out towards the entrance to Disney California Adventure

Downtown Disney's Lego Store

The lights that are aimed at the Matterhorn can be seen from this angle

Heading out of Disneyland now...

Looking once again towards Buena Vista Street

Oswald's

Can see some of the new bridge that the Monorail travels across

Although my friend and I walked to the Disneyland Resort, we decided to take the Toy Story Shuttle back to save some time...

Looks like they installed an actual queue with chains and ropes

Also some new painted white lines to indicate pedestrian walkways

Man, this sign is sure cracking due to the sun. And it's not even a year old.

That will conclude today's pictorial
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out

Until Next Time...
