Really ready?
Are you ready for Halloween?
Because Disney can't wait for it to get over so they can start Christmas Time at the Disneyland Resort
With all the Christmas decorations going up, it can be hard to tell that today's visit takes place on Halloween

The Sorcerer's Hat at the Disneyland Hotel has gotten fresh new paint.
The stars were yellow, but we can see that they made them blue
Is this the "Year of a Million Dreams"?
Or are they getting ready for Disneyland's 60th anniversary

Downtown Disney's Christmas Tree is starting to go up

Inside Disneyland, we see they are celebrating Halloween Time

Today's big news is probably the reveal of the East Side Main Street doorway to the corridors
If you are familiar with your Disneyland history, this area was once proposed at the gateway to International Street, then later Liberty Square
It looks like Disney was inspired when they created this doorway

As you can see from the picture above, the current Livery facade resembles the Disneyland Construction Co facade

55 cents, eh
Must be a nod to the year 1955, the year Disneyland opened

This saloon door is where the Disney characters use

Mickey Mouse made his grand entrance by stepping out from the saloon doors

Having a stable on Main Street does make sense.
After all, during the turn of the century, horses were still the mode of transportation among the residents.
And there are horse poles along Main Street where residents would have tied their horses to while they went inside.

This livery is somewhat near the Main Street Hotel
In the early 20th century, it was common to find Liveries near hotels and boarding houses. As most patrons of those establishments didn't have their own horse (some could have come to town by train or stagecoach), a horse from the livery could be provided to them during their stay

Heading down Main Street U.S.A.

The Main Street Lockers and Storage sign has returned

The facade work on Coke Corner is complete

Now to just add the small final touches

Earlier in the week, some people "panicked" when the scaffolding came down and they noticed that the half and half bulb was nowhere to be seen.
They thought that Disney management was ruining the history of the Park.
But as you can see, it has returned

It's Christmas Time....
No, Mardi Gras
No wait... Christmas Time
Or maybe it's Mardi Gras

These remind me of smaller versions of the kind found on the Little Mermaid's building front during Christmas Time

It's a girl!
The plants make it seem as though this "face" has long lashes

The giraffe wants his close up

In case you don't want black mouse ears, here are some white mouse ears

Umm.. Minnie. I don't want to alarm you, but your unmentionables are showing

Here is a sneak peek of the corridor

Now it's time to walk over to Disney California Adventure

Looks like Jane and Suzy Quin are dressed up for Christmas Time

And Robert and Manne Quin are dressed up for the cool winter chill

Oh my gosh!
OH MY GOSH!
The Toy Story Midway Mania queue structures are finally completed!

Ha Ha
The display samples in the Paradise Pier Ice Cream Co. window

Oh, wow! Garland

Looks like Christmas is finally appearing on the backside of the Pier

New solid bases. No more wood

Wreaths and garland help decorate some of the Pier

Even the Boardwalk Games get into the act with garland

Aww... how cute!

Musical notes on the rope flags
How cool

Looking at the garland along some of the store fronts

Next, Disney needs to make the Fun Wheel into a giant wreath

Toy Story Midway Mania has been open for nearly 6 years and they finally get Christmas in the form of garland

It's nice to see some Christmas decoration appearing back here

At Grizzly River Run, I am not sure if this is a test or what, but some decals have been placed on a small portion of the turntable in the station

I guess they are testing this as directional decals for the Guests boarding the rafts

Looking at the Christmas display in Los Feliz Five and Dime on Buena Vista Street

That will conclude today's pictorial
